Fleeting Summer

As we are already way into mid-summer, I still wanted to talk about some fashion faves that have me hooked for summer looks. Here are images of four stunning ladies that I manged to combine to create a collage to showcase some leading outfits that you must take inspiration from! These outfits sure do showcase some gorgeous styles, prints, colors and materials that you should try to incorporate into your summer looks. These looks can trescend into the fall as well. Flowers are still riding strong as well as the metallics and prints.

On the left hand side we have Camilla Bella dressed head-to-toe in Salvatore Ferragamo. She showcases the  sparkle-glitter trend that has slowly been rising through the past seasons of trends, as seen on runways, from clothes to accesorries to jewlery. It can be hard to pull of so much glitz in one outfit, but try incorporating small pieces of glittery items into your already-wearing wadrobe. Remember, if you're not comfortable wearing it, DON'T WEAR IT!

Jessica Alba pairs her floral pants with a bright tangerine top and aqua turqoise overcoat. This is a perfect example of color-blocking with an incorporation of florals. To top it all off, her sandals are the right pair to wear, simple and not too overbearing, giving a chic feminine finish to the outfit. When wearing florals or other prints, depending on how you feel, you want to pair the outfit with simpler or complementing pieces. Try not to overbear yourself with heavier shoes or too much clunky jewelry, again, do what you are comfortable with.

Olivia Palermo was seen wearing this adorable printed dress in Paris. Her look: a fun, adorable, elegantly chic printed dress is perfect for any summer occasion. Now those of you afriad of prints, try finding one that partners with black or white or a neutral, that way it can be an easy transition for you to mix/match with other wardrobe pieces if you're not too fond of prints.

The last image is taken from a runway still. Metallics, metallics, and more metallics. I don't think metallic has been this in since the 80s. I'm absolutely loving the huge comeback. Pair your favorite summer tee or dress with a touch of metalllic whether it be a bag, shoes, a cigarette pant, headpiece, whatever! Just try to snag a metallic piece that you like. It'll definitely bring you some shine and sparkle this summer.
