Pant Lovin in J.Crew

All images via J.CREW

Lusting after every single pant shown here is from the J.Crew Collection! Might I add they are all super pricey but the colors and prints on these J.Crew pants are too amazing! If there's anything I've learned this summer, it's that printed cropped pants look the best on my legs. I've always recommended a cropped pant to all my girl friends. It's been the choice of cut in leg wear for over 2 years now. I advocate to everyone to try on a crop pair, printed or non-printed. Different retailers have different sizing and fits, so the more you experiment the better. If you don't love it on yourself, try on the next thing. It's all about finding what looks fabulous on you. And when you do find that fabulous piece that you are obsessed with, I say the more the merrier. Don't just buy one, buy the same piece in a different color or print! Seriously! When something is so great on your body type and you feel comfortable in it, then it is most definitely acceptable to buy in multiples! Trust me on this. It's a new mantra I live by, whether it be shoes, tops or pants. The retailers I go to for cropped pants are H&M, Gap and Zara. Remember, experiment! It's the only way to find your true style! If I ever get around to affording one of these pairs, I'll let ya'll know!

She's beyond gorgeous! I've been obsessed with Camilla Belle's feature in Vogue Brazil wearing all Michael Kors. She was featured in the April 2013 issue. She looks so effortlessly chic and oozes glamour.

Black+White

All images via online

Let's talk about black+white. One of the most undeniably hottest trends out for spring and summer! This Spring/Summer is all about putting your best foot forward=being fashionably bold. I've never been much of a black color wearer but this trend is too good to miss out on. We're seeing stripes stripes stripes. But it doesn't have to be all reminiscent of 'jail wear' attire. Mix up your wardrobe with some bold and classic pieces that you already have. Pull out those pieces from your closet that you wore way back when in wintertime or fall. The trend can be dressed up or down. A MUST-DO with the white and black trend is to pair the outfit with some knockout accessories: add a pop of color with a clutch, put on some fierce arm candy, or wear a killer pair of shoes to complete the look. The look is meant to be easy and look effortless. No matter the place, date, time, you are sure to be a knockout in your white+black ensemble. Keep the look simple and cool or go out with a bang by pairing some major accessories with it. And don't worry about being too matchy matchy with either your jewelry or shoes. I say wear a pair of gorgeous cobalt blue heels or RED, or with a neon necklace. Truth of the matter is, embellish the outfit how you like. Most important rule: don't wear it if you don't LOVE it or feel CONFIDENT in it. Simple and easy. Don't fuss with this trend because it means serious business while looking effortlessly cool!

Spring Forward with Peplum, Prints, & Pink 2013

Spring foward, literally with the new time change and all, into the wanderlust days of sunshine and all things peppy+bright. While the fashion world is busy with the Fall 2013 Runway Shows, I'm saying goodbye to my winter wear and gearing for Spring 2013 looks. On the runway for Spring 2013 collections, we saw ensembles embodying a nostalgia for whimisical places, feminine ideals, striking patterns, and a look that is effortless but ultra chic. The colors are bright and pastelly with just enough embellishments to not over-due a springtime look. As I perused through the images of the collections, I immediately thought of three styles that are going to truly map out Spring wear: THE THREE Ps, PEPLUMS, PRINTS & PINK. With that in mind, take inspiration from the looks curated below.
I love the pairing of textured/patterned prints with soft whimsy colors, keeping it casual cool, but still showing off your trendy side. Kick up your spring look with a punchy pink outfit paired with some mega flirty accessories. I'm still in love with how the peplum style is giving a whole new classic twist on women's fashion and making it a staple in one's wardrobe. Take a look below into the most creative Spring looks from various designers and collections. Enjoy! and Be creative!
